PMIREP Con esta entrada inicio un nuevo tag llamado Free PDUs con el fin de ayudar a aquellos que se encuentra en programa Continuing Certification Requirements  (CCR), es decir, en el programa que permite a los que ya tienen alguna de las certificaciones del PMI mantenerla en un ciclo trianual. Así como lo describe el PMI:

Now that you are a PMI credential holder, you are required to participate in the Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) program. Your certification/CCR cycle begins the day you pass the exam and/or multi-rater assessment (for PgMP credential holders) and ends on the same date three years later.

To adhere to the CCR program, you need to participate in professional development activities where you earn professional development units (PDUs).

PDUs are used to quantify approved professional development activities. Typically, you earn one PDU for one hour (60 minutes) spent in a planned, structured professional development activity.

Each credential requires a certain number of PDUs per three year credential cycle.

 

Credential Handbook Number of PDUs needed in three year cycle:

PMP 60 PDUs

PgMP 60 PDUs

PMI-SP 30 PDUs in specialized area of project scheduling

PMI-RMP 30 PDUs in specialized area of project risk management

CAPM No PDUs.  Re-exam at end of five year cycle
